As a family, we love to ski. It’s a wonderful contrast to enjoy the colder weather, wrap up in warm clothing and enjoy the crackles of an open fire mountainside. For me, the mountains provide a place of open space and for open thinking and expansion of the mind. 

The white of the fresh powder snow, the cold blue of the skies, and the contrast of soft, raw timber cabins remind me of the ranch style aesthetics of American Colorado and has provided inspiration to build timber cabins, complete with stag horns nailed to the walls or hanging from the ceiling, incorporated into many of our builds, in particular The Farm, Byron Bay and The Range.
